Documentation & Traceability
Promat BD knows the importance to its customers of the provision of full supporting documentation
for the components it has supplied.
All components supplied by PromatBD are properly identified and fully traceable at all stages within
the supply chain. The PromatBD's product identification and traceability system ensures complete material
traceability throughout the manufacturing process and the identification of the finished product until delivery to the customer.
In line with the requirements of many customers documentation can be supplied electronically as well as
in hard copy form. For those customers working with a paperless system documentation can be supplied by
email or periodically on CD-ROM from PromatBD's electronic storage and retrieval system.
To meet certain customer requirements PromatBD also has the capability to identify products with colour
coding paint bands or bar coded labels.
